  • Megan says:

swatches and comparisons are always a favorite! Indies, too!

  • Julie Bennett says:

I love indie swatches! Comparisons are always great, as well! :)

  • Tiana says:

I’ve really wanted to branch out from tumblr and make my own nail blog. My biggest road block is I get discouraged by the quality of my photos compared to yours and a few other blogs. Tips on how you do photos and nail polish prop set ups would be great.

    • Christina says:

I would love to do that! The one thing that has overjoyed me about this blog is that I don’t feel protective or competitive about it at all. Which has surprised me considering that even when I play Monopoly I’ll get to that point where I’m jumping on the table and screaming at the hotels to “GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!!!!GO! GO! GO! Kick that five year old in the face!!” It’s awful! lol

I love blogging, I love other people’s blogs, I LOVE sharing and interacting about what we post! Photographing is also one of my great loves (though not professionally by any means, I just find it very meditative) so I would be more than happy to do a post like that :) I’ll see what I can do/and share :D

(quick edit: I love your tumblr! So many “loves” in this post)

  • Ashley Lyn says:

I love whimsical ideas by pam!!!

  • Vicki says:

Maybe just some direction on using nail stampers and such, I seem to have a difficult time with mine, don’t know if it’s me or the stamper. I’ve been doing my own nails for so many years using a toothpick I’m not sure on how all of these tools work! lol Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Marie says:

NAIL BATTLES! I love the comparisons, so interesting to see how polishes stack up!

  • Suzzie says:

I would have to say your blog is my new favorite. It is definitely my style and super fun. I would love to see you continuing to post your nail art and unique/little-known polishes that are out there. I look forward to seeing what comes next!

  • Stephanie Sam says:

I’ve love to see more comparison posts :]

  • Louanne says:

I happen to stumble upon your blog a few weeks ago and I can tell you that your blog is definitely one of my favorite blogs! I love your style of writing and your wonderful photos!

  • Angie says:

I love NB just the way it is!

  • Marci says:

I love your blog so much already..I would agree with the dupe/comparison posts too if I were to pick anything..lol

I feel like your blog is honestly one of the best out there. I stumbled across it while googling swatches and I was shocked I had never heard of a blog of such caliber. I love that you post swatches of cheaper drugstore polishes as well as obscure indie brands. Plus Pickles is too cute. Keep doing what you are doing girl!

  • Melissa says:

I LOVE all your indie brand reviews!! It definitely helps me choose how to blow my beauty budget without worrying about regrets!! :D

  • Lex says:

Great giveaway. I love your blog. The only thing I would change is that for some reason only the first part of your posts show on my blog feed and I have to go to your blog to read the rest, but that is really not a big deal.

Your nails and photos are wonderful.

  • Frances says:

I love your comparisons, and Pickle

  • KD says:

While I love your blog just the way it is, it could always use more Pickle. :)

  • Brittney says:

Well, it bothers me only slightly that it’s spelled “Suess”, unlike Dr. Seuss. but if that was intentional, everything else is great!

    • Christina says:

I’ve been reading so much lately about nail polish companies that have avoided being direct with the intention of avoiding Trademark infringement purposes, and other companies that have actually been contacted and had legal measures taken against them (both big Sephora label companies as well as Indies on Etsy) that I think my brain must have corrected it!!?

I just double checked the bottle and it IS Seuss!! Thank you so much for catching that!!!! I recently had all of my (the entire collection of my childhood) of Seuss rebound recently so I wouldn’t want anyone thinking I am Seuss ingnorant! (lol) as he was one of the greatest authors in history. Every time a friend has a baby, or their child has a birthday, they always know what my gift is ;) (Here’s to hoping the next generation has Seuss influence like mine!) Thanks again, I’ll be correcting that asap.

  • Maria says:

    I absolutely love your blog, I wouldn’t change a thing! :)

  • Daryn says:

I think you’re doing a great job on your blog as is. It’s pretty well rounded! :)

  • Kate says:

A great review, so fun to read,
it hit the spot for all indeed.
It brought a smile to my face,
    remembering a time and place.
My mom, she read this Seuss to me,
and to my sisters; makes it three.
So thank you for the laugh or two,
this color’s great; of course, it’s blue! :)

I like your blog. The only change I can think of is maybe a background color change??

  • Eileen says:

I could do with less warm red but that is about it.

  • Erinn says:

I just recently found your blog and it grabbed my attention right away. I think you are doing things just right, but I always love to see swatches.

  • Dominique says:

I just found this site and ive been scanning over it for a good hour and i love it. im new to the polish world but loving everything ive seen so far

  • Kyoti Jess/Jessica Owen says:

One can never have too much nail art inspiration!

  • Gina says:

    More indie!!

  • Youwen says:

I think that sometimes I would like to see swatches from a nail polish collection all in one post, just because it makes it easier for me to have a glance at the entire collection in its totality. But yet you pack each single post of the individual polishes with so many pretty pictures that I can’t really complain as well! I really love your blog and I love your personal style when it comes to the pictures and site design!
And thank you so much for the giveaway! I’m glad to even have a chance to get a bottle of Whimiscals seeing that Pam doesn’t go international shipping. ^^

  • Maude says:

Well, To be quite honest, I like it as it is now :) I love that your reviews are detailed, your pictures are great (and you put enought) and I love Te fact that I can get lost on your blog for hours! I just started mine and it has 3 posts so far… Not something you can get lost into haha! So keep up the good work! :)

  • Kelsey T. says:

Nail polish comparisons would be awesome (indie vs indie, indie vs brand, any!) :)

  • Aralyn says:

    I love swatches and comparisons!

  • CayceLeigh says:

I love indie swatches! You can never have too many!!

  • Jessica says:

The one and only thing that I wish you would change would be to un-moderate the comments to your posts. As a reader, I like to read others’ comments and interact with those comments when applicable but I find many times there aren’t any other comments for me to read when I get to a post. As a blogger myself, I completely understand why you have moderation turned on but as a reader, I don’t like it. Such a hypocrite, I know! lol

  • mytokidaze says:

    Indie dupes and comparisons :)

  • joka says:

I am new on here but anything about nails cant be bad :) ))
shared ur giveaway on my page about giveaways https://www.facebook.com/pages/Internet-nagradne-igre-International-giveaways/254190387970127

  • laurie says:

I love your blog just the way it is! Your pictures are phenomenal.

  • Tish says:

Your blog is perfect. I want to take it behind the bleachers, remember? Although I think you could stand to feature Pickle more often :-)

PS LMAO at your quote of me…or my roommate…I’m not sure which one of our dumb asses said that actually.

    • Christina says:

Yes, but to be fair, my blog doesn’t know if you’re a floozy or not. You probably tell all of the blogs they’re special.

  • nyphaeon says:

I really liked your swatches. They are really lovely. I liked the comparison too, esp the one between the “jus spotted a lizard” by OPI and the mer-maid for each other. I also like how you take pictures in different angles and lighting.

    • Christina says:

Thank you very much! Good luck in the giveaway!

Winners are chosen tomorrow (or tomorrow night, I need to double check the exact hour it ends). I’m so excited to notify the lucky polisher!!

      • nyphaeon says:

I didn’t win but because of your blog I went all the way out to find out how to obtain these polishes and got them in a roundabout way (cos pam doesn’t send them overseas out of the USA). I finally received them and swatched them. I really got to know about this from your blog. :)

  • Rachel says:

I really enjoy the fun and unique format of your blog, plus the fantastic pictures, silliness, and Pickle. :) Always love your swatches +reviews!

  • Laura M. says:

I always love seeing dupe comparisons! In all honesty, the bright red background is a little rough on the eyes, but I understand that it works perfectly with the comicbookesque theme of your blog (which is really cool!).

    • Christina says:

Bah! I know! I know exactly what you mean, I do, and it doesn’t hurt my feelings at all. I’ve actually been pretty conflicted about it for quite some time.

There’s the comic book theme (love that you noticed <3), a lot of sentimental value, plus the tweaking and even money that went into the theme to consider. After being on the fence about it for so long, I decided to ask for critique in this format to see if anyone would mention it. ..And you all did. Thank you!

Sooooo, after much deliberation I think I will attempt to change the red and the yellow and leave everything else the way it is. ..And I will use every ounce of power in me to restrain from using only sea-foam colors :P (SEAFOAM LOVE FOREVER!!!!!)

  • Murray says:

Hi, I do think this is a great web site. I stumbled upon it ;) I am going to return once again since i have book marked it. Money and freedom is the best way to change, may you be rich and continue to guide other people.
