Rainbow Honey “A Little Kindness” Equestria Collection Swatch & Review
I thought long and hard about the best possible way to present the (truly) incredible collection from Indie company “Rainbow Honey”. You all know how much I love pictures and with 8 shades that are WAY more versatile than I anticipated, it might literally be impossible to put it all together without having servers crash. Every server. All over the globe.
So I’ve split up the collection into a series of 8 posts. (Actually 8+ and counting as it may end up being many more than just the base 8. They’re that cool).
I’m also going to go against the grain and actually start this series with my favorite of the collection:
SEE LIFE CHANGING SWATCHES AFTER THIS JUMP!!….
Rainbow Honey has become my #1 favorite Indie polish company. (This polish specifically has actually just been inducted into my all time top-10 polish list which includes buying a backup).
A little blurb about RH from her Etsy shop:
“Rainbow Honey is about color. The colors you see at night when you rub your eyes. The colors you see in the sky after a summer storm. The colors you see in the bokeh of your favorite vintage photograph.
As is becoming standard in the industry, my products are free of formaldehyde-releasing compounds, toluene and dibutyl phthalate Additionally, my polishes are not mixtures of pre-made or commercial polishes but are entirely my own creations. i hope you’ll enjoy them and know that i always look forward to your comments and feedback <3″
Pretty cool lady.
(What? Did you guys think I was just fluffing talk of this line because of the MLP contest held? No way, man. My enthusiasm is straight real, one luv.)
Firstly, expect true and warm professionalism. From phenomenal customer service to the extremely appealing packaging, even traditional household brand companies could take notes.
With an eye for detail…
(There was talk from some very funny FB lacquerheads of the mass collateral sticker damage that occurred most recently when everyone’s pre-orders arrived. I simply could not have such atrocities on my conscience so I went in through the bottom of the box. Sneaky, sneaky!)
So what do you guys think? Ready for swatches?
These swatches have been split up into four different page sets, with links to each set accompany each representing picture.

The best part of all is that these polishes are WORTH IT. Full size bottles are available for $10, mini bottles are offered for $5. I’ve bought so many different brands from $.50 bin no-names to out of production Chanel. I’ve bought the Lynnderellas and the Dollishes and (not all but) plenty of other Indies. Some of them I feel are debatable as to whether or not they’re actually worth the effort and the cost. THESE ARE. I may buy lots of polish but I rarely buy backups. I’m not a very future-minded person. I’ve bought RH backups.
“A Little Kindess” is one of eight polishes featured in “The Equestria Collection”
The Rainbow Honey line can be found at the RH Etsy Shop, on The RH Blog where pre-orders can be made upon new collection releases (I highly recommend this route), and also contacted on her Facebook where contests, swatches, sneaka-peakas and a ton of other fun stuff goes down.
Stay tuned for “Hoof Wrassle”, an actual wearable Orange that looks surreal over Black! (I’ve heard it is in fact the new black ) ….
