NOTD, Faux-nad MLS301 Look #5 of the Contest/Giveaway!

Sorry to have slightly neglected NB the past two days, I’ve been working on my entry to Rainbow Honey’s My Little Pony Contest which begins on the 16th. I don’t want to post too much too soon, but I will keep you updated with details and full pictures as that date draws nearer. I’m ridiculously excited to see what the participants came up with, especially as I have new found respect for nail-arters.

Sneak peak I posted on my twitter:

The stars of this one are clearly those little cartoon characters.

This is look #5/12 in the Plate/Stamper Giveaway Contest! All you have to do is comment for a chance to win!

Rules and details can be seen here:

  • Louise says:

Love this with all the different colours :) and your pony is adorable lol!

    • Christina says:

Thank you! It was my first time doing nail art (although not my first time with a paintbrush so I think it equals out). I’m beyond excited to see what everyone has done for their entry. I have so much more respect for nail art and everything that goes into it!

I plan on posting the full, completed set tomorrow!

  • Jessica says:

Love the multi-colored stamping! But I love the buttery-ness of the base color. Yummmmm…BUTTER! LOL

  • Susan says:

Love the halfsies look! I never would have thought to try that. Clever, indeed!

    • Christina says:

Thanks, Susan :) It got a bit out of control on the pinky :P but it gives me inspiration for the future!

  • Angie says:

    Those spoiled polishes are great!

    • Christina says:

I think this comment got a bit misplaced ;) but I agree! I’m closer than ever to posting the full collection post I have been planning for the past few months! Exciting, right?

  • Gretchen says:

I can’t wait to see more of that My Little Pony inspired art. I love seeing the evidence of the process on your finger, rather than just the finished product.

    • Christina says:

      Thanks, Gretchen :D

Looking back, I wish I would have taken a few more progression pictures but I’m sure I can find something for you when I finally reveal my contest entry tomorrow.

  • Szabina L says:

Upps, that million much better than the previous one…I mean I prefer these kind of girly and cheerful colors :) and for sure just look at it! perfect for spring !*

    • Christina says:

Hah! I thought this was super funny because I saw your first comment come in and was just waiting for you to then see this post :D It was perfect!

I go back and forth between a super vampy, gothic aesthetic and one that is extremely girly and pastel breakfast cereal-esque. I have always firmly believed in just following your heart rather than trends! So go you for knowing what you like :)

Thanks for the comments and good luck, my dear!

  • shasta s says:

Cute look! I adore that plate. 8)

    • Christina says:

      Thanks, Shasta! And good luck!

I’ll also let you know when I have another contest featuring it. I picked up more than one so I could feature it again in the future :0

  • Grace says:

Very cute :) and the artwork on the my little pony is amazing!
What’s the base colour for this look – it looks a bit like China Glaze’s lemon fizz?

    • Christina says:

Revlon “Buttercup” actually! It’s one I seem to be using a lot lately. But man… you’ve got me craving a Lemon Fizz mani now.. I adore that color!

Thank you for the comment, lovely :) :)

  • Tara says:

    Super cute!
