Nail of the Day
Using Essie “Good as Gold” as base, Republic Nail Crackle (see post here), and a very thin coat of my own creation “Florentine”
One of my favorite attributes of this plate is that the dolls naturally tend to come out with different eye shapes – often winking perfectly:
You can check her ADORABLE mani using the same plate here:

Hard Candy “Pixie Pink” meets 2 coats of “Sapphire Starfire” on ring finger
I love how this looks in person so much that I’m making it Nailblog’s spirit animal for the day.
Using Lime Crimes “PEACHES ♥ CREAM” and a basic black from Sally Hansen.
Sephora by OPI
“I Found a Pot of Gold!”
2 coats “IFAPOG!” over 2 Coats Sally Hansen “Co-Bolt Blue”
Now on this one I did have to do some fishing for the diamonds.
If fishing isn’t done, I get an average of 1 diamond per decently sized coat (average of one also means sometimes none!).
What I do really like about this polish is that the base the diamonds sit in is a mix of both gold glitter AND a light sprinkling of holographic glitter so the entire effect is very sparkly in the right lights.
You can find “IFAPOG!” at local Sephora stores and at Sephora Online retailing for $9.50/Bottle.
So this is my current favorite lacquer of the moment. A combination polish, this lacquer reminds me of a million different things all at once. Some of them are not even remotely close to one another yet, somehow, they are able to simultaneously co-exist as if this polish came from a sub-dimension within a parallel universe. Cats and dogs living together!
Cherry blossoms, spring flowers, christmas glitter, halloween ooze, monster zombies, Adventure Time grass monsters, mixed drinks, simply good times.
So the NOTD that I’m wearing as I head out for a Resident Evil movie date is
Serum No.5 “Call It A ‘TreUse”
(You can click on the picture if you would like to be teleported to her Etsy shop)
It either reminds me of royal fans made of flowers, or cobwebs catching flower petals.
Using XL Cheeky Stamping Plate #C, NYC “Skin Tight Denim” (which is such a terrible name for this polish) and Essie Mirror Metallics in “Penny Talk”
This is SUCH an amazing plate that I think I’m intimidated by it. I’ve been working up to complex designs by using it to create simple ones such as this. The images are HUGE, extremely clear and deeply cut making for better results.
(And if you’re not a fan of metallic nail polish but are a fan of stamping, the Essie Mirror Metallics are perfect stamping polishes. As soon as I get the other colors in this collection I’m going to be a stamping machine!)
