Twilight. Love it or hate it after the jump!!
Today I have two lacquers from Revlon’s Limited Edition “Just Add Sparkle”.
A collection that appears to bring us many more Deborah Lippmann dupes and plenty of appeal.
“Midnight Sparkle” & “Brilliant Bordeaux”
See swatches and more after the jump!!
For this week, I wanted to return focus on the Indie lacquer line Pibble Polish. Particularly on the color “Faithful Friend” and the story of Moo, the pitbull behind the brand.
See “FF” over mint, pink, black, apricot, and jelly-glitter-sandwiched after the jump!!
Did you know Sinful Colors came out with a magnetic line immediately following Wet N Wild’s magnetic line??
Neither did I until I stumbled across the display at Target a few weeks back. The majority of the colors looked intensely sparkly, all feature star magnet shapes and, while more expensive than other lacquers in the Sinful Colors line at $4.99/pop, they are cheaper than brands such as CG and Sally Hansen whose magnetic lines retail for $9 and up.
So naturally I was instantly drawn to them. Pulled to this line like something that draws things together… typically various types of metal with specific properties… some sort of attraction…is there a word for that? THEY PULLED ME IN LIKE A TOW-TRUCK. Yeah, that’s what I was looking for.
There were a few testers out so with Mr. NB’s help I tested away with high hopes. (You’ll actually get to see the magnificent results of my work and his fingers in this post)
“Polar Opposites” was the only one I walked away with and after the jump you’ll see why…
See full swatches & review of this polish along with why I feel this is the only worthwhile one of the bunch, after the jump!!!
Macaroons? Light Candy Colors that include a mint-esque/seafoam shade? Chemical inhalation? Count me in!
From the Revlon Scented Treats Collection, today I present to you
See if you can smell them through your monitor, after the jump!!
It either reminds me of royal fans made of flowers, or cobwebs catching flower petals.
Using XL Cheeky Stamping Plate #C, NYC “Skin Tight Denim” (which is such a terrible name for this polish) and Essie Mirror Metallics in “Penny Talk”
This is SUCH an amazing plate that I think I’m intimidated by it. I’ve been working up to complex designs by using it to create simple ones such as this. The images are HUGE, extremely clear and deeply cut making for better results.
(And if you’re not a fan of metallic nail polish but are a fan of stamping, the Essie Mirror Metallics are perfect stamping polishes. As soon as I get the other colors in this collection I’m going to be a stamping machine!)
I purchased my plate HERE

“Mare of the Moon – A deep and mysterious indigo polish with a violet color shift and a sprinkling of silver moon crescents and holographic glitters.”
Part of the “Equestria Collection” from Rainbow Honey comes…
